The Circle Tennis Club 2017 Summer Tournament

 

 

Each year the club holds a summer-long tournament that encourages members of all abilities to compete against one another to win a trophy and the prestigious title of Circle Champion for that year.

The finals took place on Sunday October 1st 2017.

The results were :

-Men's Singles      : Matt Hillman def. Ed Birkhamshaw

-Ladies' Singles    : Christine Cheel  def. Louise Paris

-Men's Doubles    : Ed Birkhamshaw & Bernard Considine def. Sean Viera & Barry Moynihan

-Ladies' Doubles  : Bal Cheema & Christine Cheel def. Sarah Allen & Poppy Hill

-Mixed Doubles    : Christine Cheel & Jeremy Rison def. Jenny Hiley & Matt Hillman

The club would like to congratulate everyone who made the finals, and thank everyone who entered this year’s tournament. A special thank you to everyone who came down to suppport the players and make the afternoon a day to remember. We now look forward to an even bigger and better tournament next year.
